Red Velvet Becomes 1st Girl Group To Hit No. 1 On US iTunes With 3 Albums In Only A Year
Red Velvet has broken a record for girl groups worldwide!
On December 23, Red Velvet dropped their repackaged album “The ReVe Festival: Finale.” It is the last release in their trilogy that included “The ReVe Festival: Day 1” coming out in June and “The ReVe Festival: Day 2” in August.
Both of the first two parts of “The ReVe Festival” series grabbed No. 1 on iTunes’s Top Albums chart in the United States, and “The ReVe Festival: Finale” has now also soared to No. 1.
This means Red Velvet has now made history, becoming the first girl group to reach No. 1 on the chart with three albums in a year!
Congratulations to Red Velvet!
