Han Hyo Joo and Byun Yo Han will be starring in the Japanese film “The Sun Does Not Move” (literal title)!

On January 10, both Han Hyo Joo’s agency BH Entertainment and Byun Yo Han’s agency Saram Entertainment confirmed that the two actors will be starring in the film.

“The Sun Does Not Move” is a story about a dangerous battle of wits between agents from different countries over confidential information about the “energy of the new era.” The film, which will be directed by Eiichirō Hasumi, is based on a novel by Shuichi Yoshida, the author of “Rage,” which has already been adapted into a film and received much recognition in Korea.

Han Hyo Joo and Byun Yo Han will be playing industrial spies of unknown nationality who travel across the world to handle requests. Through the film, the actors will be showcasing their skills in action scenes as well as foreign languages. Han Hyo Joo recently starred in “Treadstone,” the U.S. spin-off drama of the “Bourne” film series, while flawlessly carrying out her action scenes and acting in English. Byun Yo Han starred in the popular tvN dramas “Incomplete Life” (Misaeng) and “Mr. Sunshine.”

“The Sun Does Not Move” will premiere in Japan sometime this year.
